No common venue
- UMSFP does not have a common venue for the ten groups to congregate; meetings are held at different locations
- Lack of visiting center is communication barrier
No faculty representative
- 6 graduate students involved, but no permanent staff facilitator
- Poor communication across sub-groups
- One representative from each group
- Group representatives communicate via email
- Information gap
Lack of support
- No independent access to funds
- Projects must be approved
- Lag in productivity
